The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partia tries for a takedown but Suggs circles away easily

and Suggs counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Suggs.
Suggs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Partia working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Suggs.
Suggs wants to control from the top but Partia keeps moving.
Partia wants to stand up but Suggs is controlling him.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Partia moves into range and clinches up with Suggs.
Partia drops down looking for an ankle pick but Suggs pulls his leg out and moves away.
Suggs takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Partia tries to sprawl but Suggs drives through with a takedown into half guard.
