The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Landgraf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Landgraf postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Rizza is trying to control Landgraf's posture but Landgraf avoids it.
Landgraf tries to move to mount but Rizza blocks the move with his legs.
Rizza is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Landgraf has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Landgraf is stalling here. Rizza is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Landgraf seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rizza has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Landgraf seems a little lost for a moment, as Rizza dominates the positioning.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rizza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Landgraf walks away with a smile on his face. Rizza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Rizza counters with a body kick that stops Landgraf in his tracks momentarily.

Rizza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Landgraf manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Rizza counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Pedra Rizza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Platon Landgraf.

Whack! Rizza lands a heavy head kick that drops Landgraf. The ref tackles Rizza to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Landgraf was done.
