Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Brazini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvis Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brazini shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maximus as he avoids it easily.

Maximus stuffs the takedown attempt from Brazini. Brazini gets slowly back to his feet.
Brazini shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maximus pinned against the cage. Maximus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Maximus 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brazini under the eye.
Brazini uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maximus .

Maximus lands a head kick!
Brazini shoots in but Maximus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maximus throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brazini.

Maximus misses the jab.
Maximus misses with a kick to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maximus , as that shot connected.
Maximus swings for the body but Brazini moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Melvis Maximus dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brazini closes the distance and clinches up with Maximus , looking for a takedown. Brazini pushes Maximus against the cage but Maximus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Maximus misses with a straight left.
Maximus thuds his right hand into Brazini's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Brazini shoots in looking for a takedown. Maximus tries to sprawl out of it but Brazini keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maximus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Maximus . No joy for Brazini on that attempt.

Maximus throws a leg kick which misses Brazini's front leg but catches the back leg as Brazini tries to avoid it.
Brazini gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Brazini shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maximus as he avoids it easily.
Brazini fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maximus avoids it really well and circles away.
Maximus thows a body shot but no joy.

Brazini stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maximus .
Melvis Maximus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maximus scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Melvis Maximus seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Maximus cracks Brazini with a right hand to the side of the head.
Maximus tries a head kick but it misses.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brazini. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Brazini shoots in but Maximus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maximus throws a head kick that misses.
Brazini looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Melvis Maximus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

No luck for Brazini with that takedown attempt.
Maximus tries to bum rush Brazini with a series of wild strikes but Brazini uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Maximus throws a leg kick but Brazini sees it coming and moves out of range.
Don Brazini is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Brazini shoots in for a takedown but Maximus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Maximus lands a slapping body shot.
Brazini avoids the body shot from Maximus .
Maximus misses with an uppercut

and Brazini counters with a takedown into side control.
Melvis Maximus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Maximus is pushing Brazini's head away, looking to escape. Brazini manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brazini looking to control but instead Maximus has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Brazini looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Brazini with the ground and pound but Maximus uses the opportunity to regain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Maximus pushes Brazini off and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Brazini throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maximus 's waist but Maximus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brazini off to one side.

Brazini closes the distance and clinches up with Maximus , looking for a takedown. Brazini pushes Maximus against the cage but Maximus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maximus is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Brazini just content to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maximus is pushing Brazini's head away, looking to escape. Brazini manages to hold on to the position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Brazini.
I think Maximus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
