Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Zaycev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kichiro Takaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaki has chosen Kagaya, Shu, Takaki - Alexey Rybnikov as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasiliy Zaycev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kichiro Takaki!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaki lands a nice shot that snaps Zaycev's head back.
Zaycev shoots in looking for a takedown but Takaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zaycev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vasiliy Zaycev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Takaki feints and then cracks Zaycev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zaycev down.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zaycev shoots in looking for a takedown. Takaki tries to sprawl out of it but Zaycev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Takaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zaycev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zaycev. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Takaki creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zaycev's defenses.
Takaki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Zaycev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takaki tries to avoid it but Zaycev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takaki to the ground. Takaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
