Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cohen comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. Mercer has chosen Trapt-Still Frame as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercer tries to clinch up but Cohen circles away and keeps his distance.
Cohen closes the distance and clinches up with Mercer, looking for a takedown. Cohen pushes Mercer against the cage but Mercer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mercer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mercer tries to land a front kick but Cohen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cohen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mercer is looking to clinch but Cohen is avoiding it.
Mercer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cohen checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mercer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cohen's waist but Cohen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mercer off to one side.

Cohen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mercer is trying to escape and Cohen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mercer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cohen! Very nice indeed!
