The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Worthington was covering up waiting for the punch and Michaels finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Worthington lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Michaels!
Worthington lands with some strikes.

It looks like Mason Michaels has been cut.
Michaels can't escape the position.
Worthington works his way to his opponent's back.
Michaels is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Worthington punishes Michaels with strikes from the back mount.

Mason Michaels's cut is getting worse.
Worthington doesn't have the hooks in and Michaels manages to turn into his guard.

Worthington escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Michaels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Michaels controls Worthington momentarily but Worthington frees himself.

Worthington drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Michaels dives on top into guard.
