Face slaps away a takedown attempt from Davis, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Davis tries to bum rush Face with a series of wild strikes but Face uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Davis looks to land a body kick but Face moved away.

Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Face paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Face tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Davis is in Face's guard.
Face manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.

Davis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Face throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Face counters with a good low kick that Davis was not able to check.
Davis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Shave Face will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shave Face.

George Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Face is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.
Face throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shave Face showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Face, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
