And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ya Xu paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ya Xu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Creed's guard.
Creed wants to sweep here but Ya Xu controlling him for the moment.

Creed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ya Xu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Creed looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Ya Xu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ya Xu postures up in Creed's guard and throws a big left but Creed blocks it.

Creed escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ya Xu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Creed is on top in guard.
Ya Xu wants to stand up but Creed is controlling him.
Ya Xu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Creed postures up in Ya Xu's guard and throws a big left but Ya Xu blocks it.
Creed lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ya Xu is looking to stand up but Creed isn't so interested in that idea.
Creed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ya Xu is keeping the position for now.

Ya Xu is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Ya Xu has had enough of the clinch but Creed keeps him there for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Creed jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ya Xu walks away with a smile on his face. Creed gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Creed looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Creed is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ya Xu frees his head nicely. Oh but Creed has switched to an armbar! Ya Xu is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
