Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Igo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Alard!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igo wants to clinch but Alard slips to the side
and Alard counters with a nice double leg into side control. Igo won't be happy with that.
Alard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Igo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Alard blocks the strikes from Igo.
Igo tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alard trying to control the action but Igo is working from the bottom.
Igo regains half guard.
Igo is trying to get back to full guard.
Alard works his way into side control.
Igo regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Igo looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Igo is not content to let Alard control the position.
Igo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Alard pulls his head out easily.
Alard is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Alard wants to pass the guard but Igo is defending well.
Igo looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Alard pushes past his half guard into mount!
Alard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Alard trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Igo is looking to improve his position but Alard isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Igo is squirming around, avoiding Alard's attempts to control the action.
Alard prevents Igo from getting the reversal.
Igo tries to lock up and control but Alard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Igo is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Igo looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Igo tries to break free.
Igo is working hard here to advance position.
Igo rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Igo wants to improve his position but Alard is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Igo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alard's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alard's back!
Alard just trying to survive but Igo is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Igo is trying to stick to Alard's back but Alard is turning into Igo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Igo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Alard.
Igo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Igo is breathing heavily.
Alard trying to control the position from guard on top but Igo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Alard connects with a couple of short punches.
Alard wants to control from the top but Igo keeps moving.
Igo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Alard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Igo's body to avoid the submission. Igo has instead reached around Alard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Igo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
