Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Midway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen Rollin - lil wayne as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots in and drives through. Midway sprawls well.
Thompson fails to land the takedown.
Midway jabs at Thompson's body.
Midway thuds a left hand into Thompson's body.
Thompson gets caught napping as Midway dives in and scores a takedown. Thompson manages to retain guard.
Midway trying to stand up but can't free himself from Thompson's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Midway drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Midway jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
