Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mick Helm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex hurricane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hurricane goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Mick Helm has been cut.
Helm tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
hurricane uses his free foot to push down on Helm's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Helm.

hurricane is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Helm can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
hurricane is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Helm can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Helm pushes hurricane off and scrambles back to his feet.

Helm has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but hurricane regains guard immediately.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Helm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? hurricane is fending him off so far but Helm persists. Nope, hurricane circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Helm or perhaps it was just good defense by hurricane which made him look bad.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Helm lands with a nice combination. hurricane backs away looking to recover.
hurricane shoots for a double leg takedown but Helm sprawls well. He's pushed hurricane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mick Helm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex hurricane.

Helm is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. hurricane can't fight it off and eventually Helm manages to take the fight to the floor. hurricane looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

hurricane has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Helm doesn't defend quickly enough and hurricane has managed to lock this one up! Can Helm escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to hurricane on a fantastic submission victory.
