PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raethos Reptlem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Paulin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reptlem comes into the arena with Drudkh - Furrows Of Gods blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reptlem drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Paulin trying to control but Reptlem flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Reptlem is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Reptlem gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Reptlem gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Reptlem apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Paulin is rocked!

It looks like Bjorn Paulin has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reptlem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Paulin sprawls well initially but Reptlem persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Paulin is still in real trouble! Can Reptlem finish him?
Paulin tries to get to full guard but Reptlem has control of the leg.
Reptlem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Paulin seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reptlem looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Reptlem is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Paulin is in trouble now - Reptlem has advanced to mount!

Reptlem postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Paulin out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Reptlem goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
