Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silco Deans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silco Deans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silco Deans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar falls off balance throwing a combination

and Deans decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lesnar's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Deans tries to kick Lesnar off but Lesnar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Deans is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Deans closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lesnar did well to prevent Deans getting side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Deans stops Lesnar from getting back to his feet.
Lesnar is pressing down on Deans's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Deans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Deans tries to get out of the position.
Deans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Deans wants to stand up but Lesnar is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lesnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That was a close round but I would say that Silco Deans will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Deans counters with a one-two to the body.
Deans moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Deans is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Deans circles away and we're back to standing.

and Deans counters with a left and a right that stings Lesnar.
Deans catches Lesnar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Deans tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lesnar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Deans shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense.
Lesnar tries to bum rush Deans with a series of wild strikes but Deans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lesnar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Deans counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Silco Deans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar wants to stand and escape but Deans is having none of it.

Deans tries to reverse the position but Lesnar maintains control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
