Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Hatayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Fierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatayama's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hard Times. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Hatayama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatayama fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fierre misses with a looping right.
Fierre tries for a takedown but Hatayama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hatayama defending well as Fierre loads up on a big left hand.
Fierre swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fierre looks to land a left hand but Hatayama moved out of range nicely.
Hatayama ducks under a wild hook from Fierre.
Fierre takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fierre connects with a looping right hand.
Fierre throws a looping overhand right but Hatayama ducks down to avoid it.
Fierre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fierre misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hatayama.
Fierre misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Hatayama counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fierre misses with a low kick.
Hatayama takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Taylor Fierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hatayama throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Fierre counter with a right hand.
Hatayama scores with a jab. Fierre acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fierre closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fierre throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hatayama counters with a nice leg kick.
Hatayama fails with a takedown attempt.
Danga de danga de dang - Fierre scores with a four punch combination!
Hatayama is rocked!
Fierre swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hatayama counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fierre has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fierre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hatayama counters with a thumping low kick.
Hatayama waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Fierre.

Fierre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fierre cracks Hatayama with a good jab.
Fierre connects with the punch.
Hatayama shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fierre counters with a series of strikes. Hatayama will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fierre throws a sloppy body shot
and Hatayama counters with a right hand to the body.
Fierre connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hatayama. Hatayama circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hatayama looks to score with a jab to the body but Fierre is just out of range.
Fierre jabs Hatayama right on the nose. Hatayama blinks but takes it well.
Fierre misses with a kick to the body.
Fierre throws an off balance right hand
and Hatayama cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Hatayama.

Fierre throws a push kick but Hatayama slaps the foot to one side.

Fierre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hatayama misses with a hook.
Hatayama avoids the head kick by Fierre.
Hatayama scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fierre tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hatayama trying to control the position but Fierre is working away.
Fierre is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hatayama's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hatayama is breathing heavily.
Fierre wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hatayama is keen to just control but Fierre is a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fierre makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fierre.
Fierre isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hatayama stacks Fierre on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hatayama!
Fierre parries the strikes from Hatayama easily there. Hatayama is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fierre to escape.

Hatayama trying to control the position but Fierre is working away.

Fierre manages to get back to half guard.
Still in half guard, Hatayama seems content to control.
Fierre is looking to improve his position.
Fierre gets full guard.
Hatayama drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hatayama jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fierre had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hatayama is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fierre Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hatayama's back instead.
Hatayama rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Hatayama is looking for a sweep. Fierre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fierre seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hatayama is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
