Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hater Hurter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everything in its right place- Radio Head. Hater Hurter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mr Ward's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hurter's waist but Hurter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ward off to one side.
Ward fails to land the takedown.
Hurter scores with a shot to the body.
Ward slips a jab and a cross from Hurter.
Ward fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Ward. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ward closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hurter to the mat! Hurter manages to get full guard.
Hurter has control of Ward's left arm, preventing Ward from doing any damage.

Ward is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ward trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ward drops back looking for a leg! Hurter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hurter manages to kick Ward off! Ward jumps back into Hurter's guard.

Ward thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ward pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hurter is keeping the position for now.
Ward thows a big elbow that misses.
Ward loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ward drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ward jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ward forces his way into half guard.
Ward throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ward tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hurter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ward is trying for a kimura here. Hurter looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ward wins by kimura!
