The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beamen connects with a right hand. Delong shakes it off.

It looks like Tom Delong has been cut.
Beamen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Delong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Delong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Delong takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Beamen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Delong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beamen feints and then cracks Delong's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Delong down.
Beamen connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Delong covering up! Beamen comes in with a big uppercut and Delong goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
