Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Harvey shoots and misses
and Fowler counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Harvey manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fowler's best efforts.
Fowler wants to get back to his feet.
Harvey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fowler is working away from the top position though.

Harvey wants to sweep but no luck.
Harvey has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fowler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harvey.

Fowler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harvey's guard.
Fowler is keen to just control but Harvey is a slippery customer.

Fowler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harvey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fowler has managed to get both his arms back between Harvey's legs - danger averted.
