Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tashiro Mangara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tashiro Mangara!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone lands the left hand.
Stone pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mangara back to the ropes. Stone follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Sloppy strikes from Mangara. Those never looked like landing.
Mangara misses with a few strikes there.

Mangara moves into range and clinches up with Stone.
Stone tries to break the clinch but Mangara is controlling the position.
A short uppercut from Stone.
Stone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mangara pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stone misses with a double jab
and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tashiro Mangara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Mangara throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mangara is looking to clinch but Stone is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Stone as Mangara shoots in.
Mangara moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Mangara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mangara looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stone connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mangara. Mangara circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Mangara swings for the body but Stone moves out of range.
Mangara throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range.
Mangara closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Mangara shoots in and bounces Stone off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Mangara decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mangara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Left hook, right uppercut from Stone.
Mangara doesn't manage to clinch there - Stone circles away.
Stone misses with a series of wild punches.
Mangara rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Stone lands a head shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mangara eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tashiro Mangara will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A looping hook to the body misses from Mangara. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mangara misses with an uppercut
and Stone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mangara.
Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mangara throws a one two combo.


It looks like Keith Stone has been cut.
Stone staying out of range there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mangara slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stone throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mangara's head.
Mangara lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stone backs up against the ropes.
Mangara tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Stone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tashiro Mangara seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mangara closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Mangara pushes Stone against the ropes but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mangara drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Stone misses with a two punch combination.
Stone dodges the punch combination from Mangara.
Mangara throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range.
Mangara is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.

A low kick from Mangara is predictable there
and Stone counters with a series of strikes. Mangara will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mangara throws a one two combo.
A head kick by Stone misses
and Mangara counters with a one-two to the body.


Keith Stone's cut is getting worse.

Stone shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mangara napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mangara is looking to regain half guard here but Stone keeps moving and retains side control.
Stone is looking to take a break and control but Mangara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stone stands up and beckons Mangara to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone tries to clinch but Mangara is having none of it.
Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mangara.
Stone scores with the left hand. Mangara knows he should have avoided that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mangara's waist but Mangara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stone off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tashiro Mangara showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Keith Stone's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Mangara throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mangara shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense.
Mangara fails with a takedown attempt.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mangara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mangara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mangara takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stone tries to bum rush Mangara with a series of wild strikes but Mangara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mangara misses with a series of wild punches.
Mangara dodges the punch combination from Stone.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mangara shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Keith Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tashiro Mangara.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mangara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mangara.
Stone throws a combination that misses

and Mangara counters with a single leg into guard. Stone didn't expect that.
Mangara wants to stand but Stone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mangara is looking to stand up but Stone won't let him.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tashiro Mangara.
Stone misses with a wild combination.
Stone works over Mangara's head and body with a nice combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mangara will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Keith Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tashiro Mangara is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Stone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Stone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mangara manages to avoid it.
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Mangara tries to close the distance and clinch but Stone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tashiro Mangara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Mangara winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
