Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tupac Common (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Common's choice of entrance music: Ghost by Tupac. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tupac Common!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Tupac Common has been cut.

Ribeiro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ribeiro showed some decent athleticism there.

Ribeiro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Common does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ribeiro is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ribeiro extends the arm and Common is forced to tap!
