The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trezeguet moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Guivarra goes down! Can Trezeguet finish him!?

Guivarra is rocked!

It looks like Diego Guivarra has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trezeguet controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Oh Guivarra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Trezeguet gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Diego Guivarra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trezeguet misses with a hook

and Guivarra counters with a nice double leg into side control. Trezeguet won't be happy with that.
Trezeguet regains half guard.
Guivarra seems to have got his legs back now.

Guivarra is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Trezeguet has managed to free his arm - good work.
Trezeguet is pressing down on Guivarra's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Trezeguet lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Guivarra!

Trezeguet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
It looks like Trezeguet might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Trezeguet lands with some strikes.
Guivarra takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Guivarra is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trezeguet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that Trezeguet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Guivarra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trezeguet on the ground.

Trezeguet postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Guivarra badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Trezeguet around the waist but Trezeguet pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Trezeguet is the winner by TKO! Trezeguet jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
