Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Wellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wellington comes to the cage accompanied by Scary. Dean Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dean Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wellington sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
Dean Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wellington lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Wellington connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Anderson's hands.
Wellington punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch.
Anderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Anderson looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wellington lands with a nice combination. Anderson backs away looking to recover.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wellington tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wellington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson misses with a takedown
and Wellington counters with a right hand to the body.
Graham Wellington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Anderson.

Oooooh!!! Wellington has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Wellington steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Anderson is rocked!

Wellington closes the distance and pushes Anderson back into the cage.
Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Wellington finish him?
Wellington pushes Anderson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.
A body shot lands from Wellington.

Wellington breaks the clinch.
Wellington lands a jab to Anderson's midsection.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Wellington.

Wellington scores with a spinning back kick!
Anderson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wellington takes the fight into the clinch.
Wellington unloads a knee to the mid-section. Anderson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Wellington escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, jab by Wellington - just one landing.
Good leg kick by Wellington there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wellington feints with a jab and clips Anderson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Anderson is sent crashing into the canvas and Wellington leaps in for the kill! Anderson tries to get to his feet but Wellington is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Anderson is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Graham Wellington!
