The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quert shoots for a takedown but Hathaway saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hathaway scores with a jab to the head.
Quert has his takedown stuffed
and Hathaway counters with a one-two to the body.
Hathaway digs a good hook to Quert's body.
Quert is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quert shoots and misses
and Hathaway counters with a crisp right hand that drops Quert! Hathaway lets Quert back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Bob Quert has been cut.

Quert glances at the clock... BAM! Hathaway nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Quert crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Quert is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
