Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tenho Friman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friman throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Friman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Friman wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like Tenho Friman has been cut.
Jones connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Tenho Friman's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Friman is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.
Jones lands a nice shot to the head.
Jeez, Tenho Friman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tenho Friman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jimmy Jones!
