Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodolfo Castaneda!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castaneda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kamahawe Ole. That did some damage!
No luck for Kamahawe Ole with that takedown attempt.
Castaneda lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Castaneda leaves Kamahawe Ole with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kamahawe Ole is looking to clinch but Castaneda is avoiding it.

Kamahawe Ole throws a series of punches but Castaneda moves out of range.

Kamahawe Ole closes the distance and clinches up with Castaneda, looking for a takedown. Kamahawe Ole pushes Castaneda against the cage but Castaneda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

JJ Kamahawe Ole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castaneda lands with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Kamahawe Ole tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Castaneda paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kamahawe Ole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castaneda tries to avoid it but Kamahawe Ole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castaneda to the ground. Castaneda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kamahawe Ole. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kamahawe Ole is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Castaneda frees his head nicely. Oh but Kamahawe Ole has switched to an armbar! Castaneda is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
