Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cordimana Ocypode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Wolowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolowitz lands a right hook to the body.

Wolowitz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ocypode's guard.

Wolowitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ocypode. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wolowitz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ocypode kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Howard Wolowitz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ocypode swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wolowitz is now in Ocypode's guard. A big mistake from Ocypode there, giving up the dominant position!
Cordimana Ocypode has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wolowitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ocypode swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ocypode has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Wolowitz. Oh but Ocypode has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Wolowitz goes limp - he's gone! Ocypode jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
