Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albino Leffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vekkuli Toveri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vekkuli Toveri!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toveri with a poor takedown

and Leffe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Toveri won't be happy with that.
Leffe throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Toveri defending against the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leffe remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Toveri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leffe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Leffe postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sloppy strikes there by Leffe.
Toveri pushes Leffe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Leffe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Toveri is letting Leffe control him for a moment.
Toveri is working to avoid the ground and pound but Leffe connects with a decent elbow.
Leffe prevents Toveri from escaping the position.

Leffe passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Toveri!

Leffe with shots to the head and body - Toveri looks very uncomfortable down there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leffe loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Toveri scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Leffe land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Leffe stands and salutes the crowd.
