The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hohs blocks a head kick by Ovale.

Ovale drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hohs manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ovale is looking for a sweep. Hohs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hohs wants to stand up but Ovale is controlling the position.

Hohs throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Ovale dives in and scores a takedown into Hohs's guard.

Hohs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ovale!

Hohs manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ovale to take his back!
Ovale is taking damage to the body and head.
Hohs connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Ovale to escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Hohs is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ovale defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Ovale is breathing heavily.

Ovale is trying to defend against the choke here but Hohs has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Hohs Tightens the hold and Ovale taps out furiously! Hohs displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
