Mexican Samurai shoots in looking for a takedown. Ziskie tries to sprawl out of it but Mexican Samurai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ziskie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Mexican Samurai counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Mexican Samurai swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ziskie is now in Mexican Samurai's guard. A big mistake from Mexican Samurai there, giving up the dominant position!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Phillip Ziskie will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ziskie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Mexican Samurai explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

and Ziskie counters with a three punch combo that has Mexican Samurai backing up. Mexican Samurai nods at Ziskie to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ziskie throws a combination. Mexican Samurai tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Mexican Samurai is rocked!


It looks like The Mexican Samurai has been cut.
Ziskie is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mexican Samurai hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Phillip Ziskie!
