The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balls drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Balls accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Balls wants to control from the top but Wickleby keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Balls landing with the ground and pound.
Balls trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Balls stands up over Wickleby, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Balls passes into half guard.
Balls is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Balls moves into full mount! Wickleby won't be happy about that!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balls wants to control the pace but Wickleby is squirming around nicely.

Balls scoring with strikes but Wickleby is staying in there.

Balls looking to control but Wickleby is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Wickleby wants to control but Balls is having none of it.
Balls misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wickleby tries to hold on but Balls postures up.

Wickleby is bucking up trying to escape but Balls cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
A big strike lands for Balls! That's really hurt Wickleby and he's turned his back - Balls keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Balls jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
