Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kip Flenderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid has chosen Go to sleep as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kid shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flenderson sprawls well. Flenderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kid gets slowly back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kid crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flenderson - the referee stops the clock and Kid gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flenderson. Kid manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Flenderson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kid might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Flenderson has got the better of the exchanges.
