The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foikz falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
Foikz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Foikz swings away with a body shot that misses

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva.
Silva lands a knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Silva lands with a shot to the body.
Silva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Silva lands the left hand.
Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Foikz at a distance.
A cross from Silva lands.
Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Foikz blocks a jab.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Foikz down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Foikz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Foikz is rocked!
Silva is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Foikz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Foikz is out cold! Silva holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
