Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kozlov feints and as Anthony raises his hands in defense, Kozlov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kozlov pushes down on Anthony's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anthony is looking for a sweep. Kozlov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Kozlov seems content to control.

Kozlov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Anthony fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Kozlov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kozlov lands in his opponent's guard.
Kozlov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kozlov stands and steps away. Anthony gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kozlov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anthony swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Vladimir Kozlov was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Anthony throws a body punch but Kozlov moves out of range.

Kozlov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kozlov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Anthony is in a horrible position here. Kozlov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Anthony fails to land with a series of punches.

Anthony gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kozlov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kozlov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kozlov stands up and waves to Anthony to follow him.

Anthony gets tackled into the cage by Kozlov. Kozlov maintains the clinch.

Anthony has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kozlov throws a nice looking combination but Anthony bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anthony dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Amare Anthony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Anthony swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Anthony misses with a hook.
Kozlov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kozlov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Well, if Kozlov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Anthony is defending against the submission attempts here by Kozlov.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anthony throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kozlov.
Anthony connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kozlov. Kozlov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Anthony misses with a wild body shot.

Kozlov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anthony!

Kozlov wants to finish this one by submission but Anthony is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kozlov.
Kozlov cracks Anthony with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kozlov thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anthony looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Kozlov is working for a rear naked choke. Anthony is not defending it well and Kozlov has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Anthony refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Anthony's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
