Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Rawlins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Archer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feel Good by Modestep. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Archer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rawlins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rawlins is looking for a triangle but Archer pushes his legs off easily.
Archer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Archer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rawlins is keeping the position for now.
Rawlins wants to sweep but no luck.

Rawlins is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Archer frees his head nicely. Oh but Rawlins has switched to an armbar! Archer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
