The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hammer tries a head kick but it misses.
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hammer throws a push kick but Emelianenko slaps the foot to one side.
Left hook, right uppercut from Emelianenko.
Hammer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hammer connects with a high kick.

It looks like Gattsu Emelianenko has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Emelianenko checks a leg kick.
Emelianenko moves out of range as Hammer throws a body kick.
Emelianenko stuns Hammer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Emelianenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Emelianenko blocks a low kick nicely.
Emelianenko throws a poor cross that misses
and Hammer counters with a nice leg kick.
Hammer looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Emelianenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hammer circles away.

Hammer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Emelianenko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hammer.
Emelianenko looks gassed!
Both fighters circling a little - Hammer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Emelianenko blocks a low kick nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hammer.
Hammer tries to land a leg kick but Emelianenko saw it coming and moves away.
Hammer throws a sloppy head kick and Emelianenko moves out of range easily.

Hammer lands a big head kick that sends Emelianenko tumbling to the mat! Hammer takes a step backwards and waves Emelianenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Emelianenko is rocked!
Hammer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emelianenko. That did some damage!
Hammer misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hammer! Emelianenko is out on his feet! Hammer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Emelianenko is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Emelianenko is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
