Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by eye of the tiger. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoos takes the fight into the clinch.
Hoos throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Green blocks it with crossed arms.

Hoos lands a takedown into guard.
Hoos wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
Hoos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Green utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hoos controls from within his opponent's guard.
Green keeping full guard, as Hoos tries to pass.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Green is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hoos defends well.
Hoos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hoos wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
Hoos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Green's head.

Green working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hoos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Green's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Green is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hoos pulls his head out easily.
Green is staying active underneath Hoos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hoos looks gassed!
Hoos trying to mount his opponent but Green defends it.
Green works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Green is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hoos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Green had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hoos defends it easily.

Green can't keep his opponent in guard - Hoos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Hoos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hoos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hoos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Green does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hoos thows a huge punch but Green dodges it nicely.

A close round but Fat Hoos will probably get the nod.

and Hoos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Green's guard.

Hoos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hoos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Green wants to get back to his feet but Hoos drags him back down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hoos lands a decent elbow from side control.

Hoos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Green knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
