The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Said moves to clinch but Rogerio Silva breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Said dodges the punch combination from Rogerio Silva.
Rogerio Silva scores with a jab to the body.

Said keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Said avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Said counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Said has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogerio Silva is working away from the top position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Said holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Said working for a triangle but Rogerio Silva defends it easily.
Said looking to control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Said looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Said keeping moving, preventing Rogerio Silva from controlling successfully.

Rogerio Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Said.

Rogerio Silva looks to land a right hand but Said moved out of range.
Said fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rogerio Silva manages to avoid it.

and Said counters with a series of strikes that sends Rogerio Silva to the canvas! Said follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Said stands and throws Rogerio Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Said is trying to get an arm triangle but Rogerio Silva is defending well.
Said is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rogerio Silva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Said is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rogerio Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Said has hold of Rogerio Silva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rogerio Silva seems comfortable defending it but Said has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rogerio Silva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rogerio Silva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Said couldn't care less - he's delighted!
