Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Da Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Sidlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Sidlow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidlow closes the distance looking to clinch

and Da Costa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sidlow won't be happy with that.
Da Costa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Da Costa wants to take a breather but Sidlow manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Da Costa.
Da Costa passes Sidlow's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sidlow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Da Costa is working away from the top position though.
Da Costa is trying to control the action in half guard but Sidlow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Da Costa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Da Costa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sidlow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Da Costa.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ben Sidlow hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Da Costa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sidlow. Sidlow obviously looking to wear him down.

and Da Costa counters with a single leg into guard. Sidlow didn't expect that.
Sidlow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Da Costa is looking to work some ground and pound but Sidlow has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Da Costa swings around for an armbar but Sidlow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Da Costa's guard.
Da Costa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sidlow is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Da Costa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sidlow is looking to defend but Da Costa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sidlow! Da Costa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sidlow taps out and this one is all over!
