Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kors Svardet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svardet comes to the cage accompanied by "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Svardet closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Svardet.
Svardet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Svardet is controlling him well.
Svardet is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.

Svardet is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Svardet misses with the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones wants to control but Svardet postures up.
Jones regains half guard, as Svardet was trying to land strikes.
Svardet is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Svardet.
Svardet throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Svardet manages to get himself to full guard.
Svardet pulls Jones in close to his closed guard and prevents Jones from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Svardet has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kors Svardet has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Svardet tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Svardet has his takedown stuffed
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Svardet takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Svardet swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
Svardet drives through with a takedown into guard.
Svardet has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Svardet prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Svardet throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
Svardet takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Svardet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Svardet throws an off balance right hand
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Svardet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Svardet will be more careful next time no doubt.
Svardet is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones drops Svardet with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Svardet! Jones dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vinny Jones!
