Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Homer Schimpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Schimpson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jay-Z-Public Service Announcement. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole tries to move into range but Schimpson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cole moves in looking to clinch but Schimpson pushes him off.
Schimpson misses with a lunging right hand
and Cole counters with a single leg into guard. Schimpson didn't expect that.
Schimpson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Schimpson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Schimpson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cole manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cole can't keep his opponent in guard - Schimpson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Cole wants to control but Schimpson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cole tries to roll over but Schimpson keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Schimpson lands a nice short elbow.
Cole wants to get back to full guard.
Schimpson winds up and cracks Cole with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Cole is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Schimpson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Schimpson's back!
Schimpson rolls, trying to escape but Cole keeps control of the position.
Schimpson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Schimpson won't allow Cole to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cole is thwarting Schimpson's attempts to control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Schimpson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Schimpson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Schimpson wants to control the pace but Cole is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Schimpson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Schimpson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cole fails with the takedown
and Schimpson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cole gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Schimpson.
A swing and a miss from Schimpson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Schimpson misses its intended target.
Schimpson throws a poor cross that misses
and Cole counters with a takedown into side control.

Cole passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Schimpson!
Cole swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Schimpson is now in Cole's guard. A big mistake from Cole there, giving up the dominant position!
Cole has momentary wrist control but Schimpson slips an elbow through the middle.
Cole is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Schimpson won't allow Cole to sweep him here.
Cole looking for subs off his back but Schimpson has passed one foot through into half guard.

Schimpson moves nicely into side control.

Cole sneaks back into half guard.
Schimpson prevents Cole from improving his position.
