The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klaus throws a left and a right that both miss

and Self counters by clinching up.
Klaus wants a takedown but no success here.
A right handed body shot lands from Self.
Klaus tries to break free but Self pushes him back against the cage.
Klaus is trying to push Self away but Self has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Klaus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Self escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Klaus is looking to break free of the clinch but Self has double underhooks.
Self has Klaus pushed against the cage.
Self tries a knee to the head but Klaus blocks it.

Oh Klaus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Self gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Self lands with a light punch inside.

Klaus goes for a takedown attempt but Self pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Klaus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Self moves into the clinch.
Klaus letting Self take a breather here.

Klaus tries to stall but Self uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Self lands a hook to the side of the head.
Self tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Self lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Klaus.
Klaus tries to break free but Self pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Self.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Klaus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Self moves into the clinch.
Self lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Klaus tries for a takedown but Self manages to get underhooks.

Self lands a shot to the body.
Klaus wants to break the clinch but can't.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Self.

Self drops Klaus with a big knee straight up the middle! Klaus is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Self is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Klaus hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Primo Self!
