The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skins tries for a takedown but Nana sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Skins on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nana has taken the fight to the clinch.
Skins goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nana prevents it.
Nana gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Skins.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Skins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Skins prevents Nana from breaking the clinch.
Skins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Skins jumps guard.
Skins has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Nana wants to get up but he can't break Skins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Skins pulls Nana in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tony Skins just wasn't active enough.
Nana shoots in but Skins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nana walks into a left hand.
Skins tries to land a body kick
and Nana counters with an inside leg kick.

Skins with a poor takedown

Skins manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nana's best efforts.

Skins has one foot on Nana's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Nana tries to buck Skins off but he can't manage it.
Nana looks gassed!

Nana tries to improve his position but Skins has taken his back! Skins has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Nana tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Skins pushes Nana away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
