Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lynard Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - TNT kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn cracks Carlson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Thorn scores with a nice strike.
Thorn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thorn misses with a hook
and Carlson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Thorn misses with a body shot
and Carlson counters with a straight right hand.
Thorn scores with a decent looking hook.
Carlson tries to land a front kick but Thorn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Carlson counters with a head kick. That will keep Thorn thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Thorn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carlson manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carlson tries a low kick but Thorn avoids it.

Carlson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thorn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Carlson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thorn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Carlson connects with a leg kick. Thorn looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Carlson clobbers Thorn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Carlson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Thorn's brow.

A frustrated look appears on Thorn's face as he tries to break the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carlson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Thorn has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Carlson gets underhooks to prevent Thorn's takedown attempt.
Lynard Carlson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Thorn.
Thorn tries to circle away but Carlson has him pinned against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carlson throws a leg kick but Thorn sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Thorn shoots in for a double leg but Carlson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Carlson lands a big head kick that sends Thorn tumbling to the mat! Carlson takes a step backwards and waves Thorn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Thorn is rocked!
It looks like Mike Thorn has been cut.
Carlson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Thorn crumples to the floor! Carlson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
