The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slagpaase tries to clinch but Erwin moves away
and Erwin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Slagpaase throws a wild body kick that Erwin sees coming a mile off.
Slagpaase tries to clinch
and Erwin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Ingvar Slagpaase has been cut.
Erwin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Erwin lands with a hook. Slagpaase tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Erwin looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Slagpaase wants to clinch

and Erwin counters with a head kick that drops Slagpaase to the mat! Slagpaase scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Erwin throws out a loose jab but Slagpaase uses good head movement to avoid it.
Erwin tries a head kick but it misses.
Slagpaase doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Erwin counter with a right hand.
Slagpaase moves to clinch but Erwin breaks away
and Erwin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Slagpaase is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Erwin scoring well with a low kick there.
Erwin throws a head kick but Slagpaase moves out of range.
Erwin scores with a spinning back kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Erwin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Erwin lands a really nice looking cross but Slagpaase seems unphased.
Both fighters circling a little - Erwin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Slagpaase slips a jab from Erwin.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Erwin.
Slagpaase takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Erwin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slagpaase drops his hands momentarily and Erwin needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Slagpaase just on the top of the head. Slagpaase drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Slagpaase - he's done!
