Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bada Bada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malenkai Vario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bada comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy Warriors Dance. Vario has chosen Last Night of the Kings as his entrance music. Bada Bada has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vario looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bada seems to be looking for submissions.

Vario looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bada throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bada trying to control from Vario's half guard. Vario has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Bada wants to pass the guard but Vario is keeping the position.

Vario postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bada is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vario, into his guard.

Bada drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bada jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vario wants to sweep here but Bada controlling him for the moment.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bada shoots in and drives through. Vario sprawls well.

Vario gets caught flat footed, as Bada shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bada drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Vario manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bada has Vario in his guard.
Vario looking to sit in guard and control but Bada gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Badais looking to pass into half guard but Vario pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Vario is in guard.
Vario wants to control from the top but Bada keeps moving.

Vario drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bada looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bada looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bada!

Bada thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vario tries to bench press Bada off him but Bada keeps the position.
Bada is looking to take a break and control but Vario is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vario is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Bada thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Vario wants to control but Bada postures up.
Vario tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bada tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bada tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Bada goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Vario has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bada but great work by Vario.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Vario tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bada counters with a lovely shot to the body.
