Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomar tries to bum rush Stevenson with a series of wild strikes but Stevenson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lomar swings widly with a right hand

and Stevenson counters with a takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stevenson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lomar pinned against the cage. Lomar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stevenson throws an overhand right that lands on Lomar's shoulder, as Lomar tries to avoid the shot.

Lomar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lomar there as he acknowledges the shot.
Stevenson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lomar. Lomar obviously looking to wear him down.

Stevenson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stevenson throws a nice looking combination but Lomar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stevenson throws and elbow that misses. Lomar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stevenson's guard. Nice move by Lomar!

A close round but David Lomar will probably get the nod.
That's time! Stevenson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
