The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Siores forces Couture back against the cage and clinches.
Couture looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Couture can't get the takedown.

Siores jumps into guard, dragging Couture to the mat.
Siores bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Couture's guard.
Couture keeping moving, preventing Siores from controlling successfully.
Couture avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Siores stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Couture swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Siores pushes down on Couture's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Couture is defending against the submission attempts here by Siores.
Couture missing with punches from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Siores passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Couture!
Siores controlling the pace for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Couture is in a horrible position here. Siores smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Couture in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Siores working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Siores looking to control but Couture is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Couture really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Siores working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Couture is doing well to defend. Siores seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Couture is forced to tap and this one is over!
