Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Watson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis loads up on a big right hand but Watson slips the punch.
Watson avoids the head kick by Davis.
Watson shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed Watson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Watson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Watson misses with a takedown attempt - Davis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Davis scores with a hook to the body. Watson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A left lands for Davis.
It looks like Will Watson has been cut.
Watson moves out of range as Davis throws a body kick.
Davis misses the jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Watson - the referee stops the clock and Davis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Watson. Davis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Davis showed some decent athleticism there.
Davis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Davis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Watson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Davis tries to hold on but Watson pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Davis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Davis has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Davis breaks Watson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Davis throws and elbow that misses. Watson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Davis's guard. Nice move by Watson!
Davis is looking to stand up but Watson isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Watson throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.
Davis misses with a head kick.
Davis scores with a jab.
Davis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Watson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Davis scores with a jab to the jaw.
Watson dodges the punch combination from Davis.
Watson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Davis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Watson won't be happy with that.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Watson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Davis dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Davis lands a nice shot to the body.
Watson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Watson keeps control of Davis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Watson manages to break the clinch.
Davis moves out of range of the body kick.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davis as he jumps to the side.
Davis lunges at Watson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Watson's hand.
Davis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Watson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watson takes a swing at Davis's ribcage but misses.
Watson shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Watson gets caught flat footed, as Davis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Davis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Watson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.
Watson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Watson stands up from Davis's guard - Watson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Watson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is breathing heavily.

Watson decides to stand back up. Watson steps back and let's Davis get back to his feet.

Davis is looking for a sweep.
Watson has an Americana. Davis didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Watson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Watson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
