Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Vest misses the target.
Young shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Young thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vest moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vest can do anything to dispel that myth.
Young distracts Vest with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Young postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Young with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Vest tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Young content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Young is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Young with a flurry of punches that miss.

Young cracks Vest with a solid left hand.

Vest really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Young keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vest's head.
Vest is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Young working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vest's head.
Young thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vest is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vest looking for a sweep. Not yet Vest, not yet.
Vest wants to stand up but Young is controlling him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vest looks gassed!
Young is in close to Vest's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Young scoring with punches to the head and body.
Vest is rocked!
Young loads up on a big left hand. Vest felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Young looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Vest can't hide his disappointment, as Young celebrates the victory.
