PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darko Milicic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Walburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milicic comes to the cage accompanied by Navras, Juno Reactor. Randy Walburn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walburn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walburn throws a wild body kick that Milicic sees coming a mile off.
Walburn tries to clinch but Milicic is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Walburn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Milicic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Milicic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Walburn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Milicic is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Walburn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Milicic's back instead.
