Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Holt!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt fails with the takedown
and Umedowicz counters with a nice uppercut.

Umedowicz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Holt wants to control but Umedowicz passes into side.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Charlie Holt was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Umedowicz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Umedowicz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holt's guard.

and Umedowicz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holt won't be happy with that.

Holt tries to control the position but Umedowicz now has his back.

Umedowicz trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Holt doesn't escape.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Holt takes the fight into the clinch.
Holt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Holt missing with knees to the body.
Holt working hard to break the clinch.
Umedowicz has Holt pressed against the cage, preventing Holt from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Holt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Umedowicz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Umedowicz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Holt pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holt looks to land a combination but Umedowicz avoids it well.
Holt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Umedowicz moves into the clinch.
Holt tries for a takedown but Umedowicz manages to get underhooks.
Ganzo Umedowicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Holt.

Umedowicz turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Umedowicz manages to end up in side control.
Holt throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Holt is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Umedowicz is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ganzo Umedowicz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Holt is trying to reverse the position but instead Umedowicz has taken his back - oops!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Umedowicz has the hooks in. Holt is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Umedowicz gets his hands free as Holt looks to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Holt controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ganzo Umedowicz showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Umedowicz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
